Hey Jon & Ali

Today the system never went offline and while I've not heard anything from Justin, I am hopeful that the internet connectivity issues have now been resolved. Right now quite a lot of rain is falling, so in the back of my mind I'm hoping that the sensor is More Waterproof Than Anyone Might Think Possible. So far so good.

I have noticed that every time I go out on my bike I seem to end up at a beach, even when that isn't my intended destination. It's kind of the measure of being lost on an island I guess - instead of ending up in the middle of nowhere, you reach the edge, and have to turn around and go back. I never did find that wildlife centre, or I would have had a photograph of their famous red shining parrot for you.

All going well I'll be here another 5 days, before gently packing up the apparatus and carrying it to NZ, where I expect it will capture light in my front porch for a few months. The light there is particularly good at this time of year and of course Kyla and I live in tomorrow just like the Tongan People.

All the best friends, it has been mighty fine. -E

Meanwhile back in today, the ISEA/Zero One festival launches with opening parties across the city including San Jose Museum of Art where our light from tomorrow bathes taco eating, wine sipping art lovers. For a few hours at least the city is swarming. Our blog ends here, but the exhibition continues into November 2006.
