We have spent the day,
manually rebooting our microwave receiver everytime the
connection is dropped and this has insured we have maintained
a good connection between the sensor here in tomorrow and
the lightbox back in today during gallery hours. It feels
rather like attaching a hand-crank to to the internet and
is far from ideal.
Hopefully we can improve on this as and when Justin arrives
from Tonfon to check the installation. Otherwise poor Elliott
might be stuck by the computer in Tonga whenever the gallery
is open in San Jose.
At 1am tomorrow we will also begin our jump from Tonga to
California. By our calculations this will mean that August
4th will last around forty-two hours for us. Nearly two
full days by which time we will have returned successfully
from tomorrow and back to today. |
